Installing VMWare tools on a Windows Server Core 2008 R2

Installing VMWare tools is done as usual through the menu. The following screenshot has been done on VMWare Workstation. The same can be done with vSphere.


The installation doesn't start automatically. You'll have to start it with the command prompt by typing:
"d:\VMware Tools64.msi"
(don't forget the quotes as the file name has spaces in it)
